15 January 2015 :: Shamitabh will be the third film in which R. Balki will direct Amitabh Bachchan.
Before Shamitabh, Balki has written and directed Cheeni Kum (2007), which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu. and commercially successful Paa, (produced by Sunil Manchanda), released on 4 December 2009, starring Amitabh, his son Abhishek Bachchan, and Vidya Balan.
Shamitabh is an upcoming Hindi film scripted and directed by R. Balki. The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, in her debut, in the lead roles
