Alvida Jumma :: Jama Masjid, Old Delhi

17-Alvida-JummaDelhi | July 17, 2015 :: A large number of Muslim devotees offered prayers on Alvida Jumma — the last Friday of the month of Ramzan. Juma-tu-Wida is the Last Friday of Ramadan. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said “any one who worships Allah in Friday will receive protection from Allah for the entire week”. The importance of Friday is more then other days of the week. The Prophet Mohammad said: “Allah Almighty forgives the sins committed between two Fridays of the one who performs his Friday Namaaz regularly”. Juma-tu-Wida is the day of acceptance of prays (Dua). People on this festival send and celebrate the Days of Happiness, joy and love.
Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated across the country tomarrow [ 18th July 2015 ], says Shahi Imam of Delhi’s Jama Masjid.
