Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste at Oxford Public School, Ranchi.

Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste under the aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Bhartiya Lok Kalyan Sansthan, Ranchi at Oxford Public School,Ranchi. Through an inspiring puppet show, the team headed by  Nand Kumar, and Ms. Pinky, the National Resource Person made all the students and teachers aware of the environmental hazards of electronic waste. They told that the Electronic, Electrical and Equipment wastes lead to so many fatal diseases. They advised all the students and staff to give the e-waste to the authorized recyclers only so that people will be safe from diseases caused by e-waste. People can take help of city pollution control office also.
A number of students expressed their opinions on this occasion. Senior teachers  K.R.Jha and Mrs Sushma Prasad also expressed their opinions and told that the show was quite interesting, entertaining and informative.
Suraj Sharma, the Principal of the school thanked the organization and its team for organizing such a wonderful show to spread awareness among the students and staff to solve the burning issue of society, e-waste. The Principal honoured  Nand Kumar, by presenting him a memento. The Principal admired the tireless effort of the fourth grade staff of the school for maintain the school clean and tidy and honoured them .Further he called upon the students to maintain the cleanliness of the school. On this occasion all the students of the classes VI to XII and teachers were present.
