September | Monday | 07, 2015 :: Bigg Boss Double Trouble is the upcoming ninth season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss which will premiere on network Colors TV 11 October 2015. Salman Khan, who had been hosting the show from past five seasons, quit after the last installment was extended into a limited series called “Bigg Boss Halla Bol”. Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan filled in for the extended version.
But Salman is back for the new season that will once again revolve around a group of celebrities holed up in a house for three months with multiple cameras watching their every move.
Bigg Boss 9 is likely to start from October 11, soon after ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’.
Bigg Boss is a television reality show broadcast on Colors channel in India. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Within a span of 9 years of telecast, Bigg Boss has rolled out 8 Seasons and one spin-off version thus establishing itself as one of the most popular Reality TV Series in India.
The show has, at times, proved to be a great ratings churner with the viewership at a constant high since the appointment of Salman Khan as the main presenter.
