Ranchi, Jharkhand | August | 12, 2017 :: BookASmile (BAS), the charity initiative of India’s largest online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow, in collaboration with Round Table India(RTI) today organized pan-India screenings of the movie Toilet- Ek Prem Katha for 13,626 kids from lesser fortunate background. All the three chapters of Ranchi Round Table –Ranchi Anchorage 160, Ranchi Samaritans 244 and Ranchi Utopians 284 participated jointly in this event with 388 school kids. Ladies Circle also participated in this event. The students were from Balika Siksha Ucchya Vidyalaya, NGO Asha and Yogada Satsang Vidyala . The kids were also given refreshments like popcorn and soft drinks. Building toilets is one of the focal points of improving our country’s sanitation standards. The motive to showcase this movie was to inculcate right hygiene habits in kids. RTI also shares the vision our Prime Minister, ‘To make India open Defecation Free.’ ” “We are delighted to work with BookASmile for this initiative.
