Ranchi, 17 Dec 2011 :: Ranchi Obstetric & Gynaecological [ ROGS ] organized a CME.
The talk in the CME were on Modern advances in Key Hole Surgery by Hysteroscopy & Laparoscopy in Gynaecology by Dr. Prof Karuna Jha. & Plastic Surgery in Gynecoligy by Dr. Anant Sinha.
A large number of Gynarcologist of Jharkhand participated in this CME & discussed these very important advances in women’s Health. Laparoscopic & Hysterosopic Surgery of Tumors, Many types of Cysts, Removal of diseased Uterus & for treating Infertility is now the gold standard in treatment of reproductive organs of women. These operations are done on women of all ages ranging from very young to very eldery women.
Plastic or corrective surgery improves many malformations & enhances the quality of life of women.
Although the cost of all these surgeries is some what high due to high cost of imported equipment but the benefits of shorter Hospital stay, no infections, quicker return to work, no big cuts & incisions, no blood loss & absence of post operative Hernia finally add up to much lower total costs in term of money & Good Health.
