Ranchi, Jharkhand 22 October 2014 :: The Students of classes three, four & five of Delhi Public School, Ranchi celebrtaed Diwali in the School premises. A Diya making and Rangoli competition was held fro classes four & five. Children showcased their creativity by a splash of colours with vibrant Rangoli patterns. Earthenware lamps were decorated with giltter and multicolours. Childern in their exuberant mood displayed their creativity and innovation. The Principle of DPS, Ranchi appreciated the efforts of children and encouraged them to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali. The activities were conducted under the British Council Programme. Through the manifold sctivities a message was conveyed amongst them that lights dispels darkness and ultimately truth triumphs over evil.
