Ensuring quality education to all children is the best insurance against child Labour : Job Zachariah [ Chief of UNICEF for Tamil Nadu and Kerala ]

Tamil Nadu, June 11, 2015 :: The World Day against child labour is observed on 12th of  June, every year all over the world. This year, the focus of the Day is on ensuring quality education to all the children as a key step in addressing child labour.

“Ensuring quality education to all children is the best insurance against child labour. If we ensure that all children attend school regularly, then there would not be any working children in the state”,  Job Zachariah, Chief of UNICEF for Tamil Nadu and Kerala said here on the eve of the World Day against child labour
