September | Tuesday | 27, 2016 :: Google celebrated its eighteenth birthday with a colorful animated doodle.
The doodle shows Google’s “G” blowing up a balloon to spell out the rest of its name, but it blows it up too much leading to it being carried off into the sky. In the backdrop are two bunches of bright balloons. Each bunch has three balloons representing the six letters G O O G L E.
Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998. 18 years after it was founded at Stanford University, Google is one of the world’s most powerful companies.
