Ranchi, Jharkhand | October | 20, 2016 :: Green Day’ was celebrated by the students of classes Prep to II in the premises of Delhi Public School, Sail Township Ranchi which was fulfilled with heart-warming and ecologically stimulating art works and displays by the students.
The objective was to kindle the fire in young minds to make themselves “Eco-Kids”.
For students the entire day was a fulfilling experience where they enjoyed several activities. A “Green Walk” was organised for the students that motivated them to keep their surrounding environment clean and beautiful. Stories were presented on our concerns about environment and means to actively tackle climate change.
Students inculcated healthy food habits through salad making activity. They painted their thoughts on nature conservation.
Students were made aware about various measures that can be taken to save earth and the little things we can do everyday to save our environment.
The celebration was successful in developing a long-lasting eco-friendly ideology among the students.
Principal Dr. Ram Singh led the plantation drive in the school arena, organised by the students and motivated them to adopt eco-friendly lifestyle. He said “We need to come together and join hands to save our earth and make it cleaner and greener”.
