January | Wednesday | 06, 2016 :: The sequel of the record breaking animation film ‘Chaar Sahibzaade’ is underway and the next film in the series ‘Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur’ is set to release in the summer of 2016.
This was announced in Chaar Sahibzade facebook page, which says, “With the blessings of Waheguru, by June this year we will be bringing to you all, our next movie, depicting the journey of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji from machiwara to Nanded and then Banda Singh Bahadur’s journey from Nanded to Punjab-Sirhind!!! With memorable moments spread at regular intervals of all the Sahibzaades !!! Here is Wishing you all A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May Waheguru fulfil all your wishes and desires!!
‘Chaar Sahibzaade’ was the first photo realistic 3D animated film on Sikh history and is based on the real story of the sacrifices of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh – Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh. Produced by Pammi Baweja and directed by Harry Baweja; it released on 6 November 2014 in Punjabi, Hindi and UK English, and received an overwhelming response from the audience across the globe. The movie has been praised for its emotional and unbiased portrayal of one of the most important chapters of Sikh history.
