Ranchi 11 July 2014: A high level delegation consisting of Vishvajit Sahay, JS/DHI & CMD, HEC Ltd, Ranchi, Kushal Saha, Director (Production) & S K Pattanayak, Director (Finance) were in Tajikistan for exploring the possibility of setting up the Industrial Projects.
India’s one of the oldest & largest Integrated Engineering PSUs, Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Ranchi is interested in operating in Tajikistan. A meeting was held between Shavkat Bobozoda, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan with Vishvajit Sahay, Joint Secretary, DHI & CMD HEC Limited, Ranchi.
During the meeting a MoU was signed on cooperation. Mr. Bobozoda and Shri Sahay were mutually interested in establishing cooperation on development of Heavy Industry and establishment of cement plant in Tajikistan, projection for exploration of the Ziddi coal deposit and delivery of equipment for coal industry. Both of them were also agreed to promote new technologies and equipment as well as support technology development projects. Other senior officials were also present during the meeting.
HEC has a complete manufacturing setup starting from casting & forging, fabrication, machining, assembly and testing and backed by a strong design, engineering & technology team.
The Industrialists present were mostly interested in participation in projects related to development of Rail Road Maintenance Centers, Coal Processing, Supply of Equipment for Technological base in the field of Coal Mining,Industry and Construction of Cement Plants in Tajikistan,”.
