Ranchi, Jharkhand | September | 05, 2017 :: Pragya’s gurukul observed HONOUR YOUR TEACHERS DAY CUM PAINTING COMPETITION today, as the fourth leg of VARSHAOTSAV CELEBRATIONS. The premises of the school were decorated for the occasion. Students appeared in colourful attire, to reflect the theme of the event. The festival was opened at 10:00 am by Senior Teacher Amardeep Kaur who also orchestrated the ceremonies. Students wholeheartedly participated in the painting competition and gifted them to their class-teachers. They sang and danced to traditional songs to celebrating the lifetimes of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
In her short speech, the Chief Guest, social luminary Priyadarshini Veena Jha defined the role of teachers is social and nation building, commended their efforts in nurturing the youngest of minds and wished them his best on the road ahead.
The School Director, Aradhana Shukla, mentioned that the teachers of pragya’s gurukul were the most capable, talented & experienced professionals within their segment, in this part of the world. They have displayed compassion in spirit, sustained endeavour towards the cause and immense application at duty. They have bettered all expectations placed on them. She expressed her gratitude for their choice to continue with pragya’s gurukul.
The function was attended by many invitees, numerous guardians, and the entire team of pragya’s gurukul.
