Ranchi, Jharkhand | October | 19, 2019 :: ICT conclave took place in Xavier Institute of Information Technology on 19 October 2019
It was an Industry- Academia dialogue that was organised by Information Technology Programme in Alignment with Confederation of Indian Industry, Jharkhand.
The event initiated with lamp lighting and prayer song sharing positivity on the ambiance. The welcome address was initiated by Mr Seashore Jha( Convener, CLL Jharkhand ICTE Panel & Chief-Business Transformation and Digital Solution Tata Steel ltd) which was then followed by the theme address Fr. Pradeep kerketta S.J.(Assistant Director) Special address was directed by Dr. Amit Eron Tigga( Acting Director Xiss)
The event had unveiling of Tech Next Club- by Annual magazine and Article on Identity Theft in Cyber Space by Prof. Rik Das. A concluding remark by presented by Head of Department Dr Mahua Banerjee (Head of Department – Information Technology).
The conclave had three plenary session where in the first session had a discussion on Emerging Trends on Disruptive Technology which was addressed by Mr Sarajit Jha, Mr. Subrata Sarma Chaudhuri (Director- Technology Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers Private limited) and Mr. Rajesh Prasad (Chief Executive Officer, RIAOM Services Pvt Ltd) where they elaborated about the impact of Disruptive Technologies in our personal as well Corporate scenarios.
The Second Session evolved on the topic Cyber Security: Finding and Fixing your Security which was moderated by Prof. Sushil Ranjan Roy and two speakers Mr. Mrinal Kanti Pal (Chief- Cloud Infrastructure, Networking and Cyber Security Tata Steel Ltd) Mr. Mansoor Ahmad (Founder and Director Cyber Crime Control Foundation (DEF))
Where the interaction summed up as how cyber security is a major concern for every individual and what key measures, we should take to avoid Cyber Attack and refrain ourselves from getting victims.
The final session had in centre about HR Analytics in Identifying Right Skills which was moderated by Prof. Satya Narayan Singh (Faculty- Department of IT XISS) and two key speakers Ms. Shilpi Shiwangi (Human Resource Officer, The Indian steel and Wire Products Ltd)
Mr. Subhro Chatterjee (CEO- Jharkhand, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd)
Who briefed us about role of analytics and technology in the Human resource in the organization. How it helps to Grab the best potential candidate and sustain niche talent.
The Conclave Concluded with a lunch with all the dignitaries, Student and other members.
