IIM Ranchi celebrated National Education Day

Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 11, 2019 :: Indian Institute of Management Ranchi celebrated National Education Day on November 11, 2019 on the occasion of 131st Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The event was attended by the faculty, students and staff of the institute.

Institute had the Senior Professors and honorable Director Prof. Shailendra Singh as the speaker on the occasion. The speakers highlighted their thoughts, views and suggestions on the latest draft of the National Education Policy.
The overview of the policy which was highlighted in the event was that it is a consolidated, insightful and constructive document. Discussions were on how this policy gives emphasis on the area of research and stated that the National Research Foundation has to be created which will strengthen the research output and which in return propel the country to the higher level. Even the basic premise on which the first National Education Policy was framed was also discussed in the event.
Honorable Director of the Institute, Prof. Shailendra Singh stated that education to all is a great vision and this policy, if implemented rightfully then it will benefit the Nation and the community at large.
