IIM Ranchi :: Samagam 1.0: Tryst with the Business Leaders.

Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 13, 2019 :: Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, successfully conducted the third day of the first edition of the leadership talk and industry-connect series ‘SAMAGAM 1.0: Tryst with the Business Leaders’.
After inviting 8 stalwarts from the industry in the initial 2 days of the event, Samagam 1.0 finally concluded with the 9th and final speaker Mr. Karthick Rangappa, Vice President at of research and education at Zerodha and Vice President at Zerodha Capital, who took a pivotal session with the students of the Institute.
The event, which was conducted by the finance club of IIM Ranchi – Finopsis – was a huge success as the students had a chance to interact with a tireless Mr, Rangappa, who took his time and effort to educate the students in the field of business management. In his own words, Mr. Karthick Rangappa said “The landscape of Indian Financial Markets is changing. Zerodha is helping fintechs in shrinking the timelines to innovate and thereby allowing them to focus on product development.
The concept of ‘Rainmatter Incubator’ fund at Zerodha is niche with no external funding and it is benefitting startup to be good at what they are, mutually benefiting customers, startups, and Zerodha”.

The three-day event saw nine industry leaders and experts from various strata of the corporate world impart their knowledge and share their experience with the students of IIM Ranchi. ‘Samagam,’ an annual event, is aimed at connecting the budding minds with stalwarts from the industry and engaging the students with the current advancements and trends by making them aware of the risks, challenges, and opportunities in the field of business and entrepreneurship.
