Day 2 of the faculty development program at Apeejay Stya University, Sohna started with a presentation on “Innovation in education at Apeejay Group by Dr.V. S. Garg of Apeejay Group. He spoke about the various practices adopted at Apeejay Schools which have been path breaking and helped in making the process of education more exciting for both teachers as well as faculty. Some of them include early adoption of computers, publishing books by teachers etc.Session II saw Prof. R. S .Nirjar [ Former Chairman AICTE ] spoke about Excellence and Innovation mindset. Drawing from his own experiences, the session was straight from the heart. Encouraging faculty members to face problems bravely and charting their respective life path. The first half of the day ended with the workshop on success factors, conducted by HR team of ASU. The faculty was trained on the new software aimed at good setting. In the second half of the day an interesting and interactive bonding activity was organized for faculty members. What followed the fun part was an intensive discussion with Dr. Alok Saklani [ Director, Apeejay School of Management ] on “Teaching pedagogy” both input and output side.
