Ranchi, Jharkhand | April | Tuesday | 19, 2016 :: An Interactive & Counseling session was organised on 19/04/2016 at Delhi Public School Ranchi for the parents whose wards came to take the Aptitude test for Class XI (2016 – 17). It’s a dream come true for me to walk into the premises of DPS Ranchi said some of the aspiring candidates who had come with a lot of hope and expectations to be a part of this prestigious institution.
Dr. Ram Singh Principal DPS Ranchi set the ball rolling by giving the parents a brief idea about how the school functions and what is expected from the children. He spoke to them at length about the aspects which makes DPS Ranchi unique. It was strongly emphasized by him that parents should not pressurize the children to become doctors and engineers rather they should motivate them to become excellent global citizens. He also said that we should help the children to choose a career as per their potential.
Anand Kumar as one of the resource person for this session. He spoke about various career options and how children can be groomed fro the same.
Pankaj Kumar discussed about the ways to tackle the competitive exams, study materials etc. which turned out to be extremely beneficial for the parents.
Vikas Kumar was also present for this session who gave some valuable tips to the parents to deal with the children of this age group.
A power point presentation was shown to the parents to enable them to catch a glimpse of the growth and academic achievements of the school. After this a very interesting question answer session was conducted in which the head of the institution patiently dealt with all the queries of the parents.
At the end of the session many of the parents appreciated the efforts taken by the school for making this session a highly enriching one.
