Delhi, 11 February 2015 :: Six MLAs from Jharkhand Vikash Morcha ( JVM ) joins Bharatiya Janta Party ( BJP) in the presence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Jharkhand incharge Tribendra Singh Rawat and Jharkhand State President Ravindra Rai at Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi on Wednesday.
The Six MLAs who left JVM to join the BJP were
1. Navin Jaiswal [ Hatia ],
2. Ganesh Gounjhu [ Simaria ],
3. Amar Kumar Bouri [ Chandankyari ],
4. Alok Kumar Chourasia [ Daltonganj ],
5. Randhir Kumar Singh [ Sarath ] &
6. Janki Prasad Yadav [ Barkatha ].
By the joining of these Six MLAs the BJPs total Strength in Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha will be now increse from 37 to 43 in the 81 member House plus one Nominated MLA. The Strength the rulling BJP-AJSU combine also went up from 42 to 48, which will be 9 more than the opposition. These MLAs will give rulling party led by Raghubar Das in Jharkhand a comfortable Simple Majority on its own. As a result of this the JVM will be left with only two MLAs
Jharkhand Vikash Morcha ( JVM ) is a political party from Jharkhand led by Babu Lal Marandi. These MLAs had won recently in Jharkhand Assembly Election under the ticket of JVM.
