26 May 2013 :: Ritesh Batra’s debut film Lunchbox has bagged the Critics Week Viewers Choice Award also known as Grand Rail d’Or at the 66th Cannes Film Festival. Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddique are in the lead roles, the film got thumbs up from the audience during its screening at the festival. Lunchbox centres on how a wrongly delivered of lunchbox ignites a secret romance between an unhappy housewife and a soon-to-retire government official.
