Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park Located in the State of Himachal Pradesh which is called Dev Bhoomi, is at the height of about 4,000 ft above sea level, The Heritage Park is coming up within breathtaking natural beauty , In a sleepy Hamlet 11km, off Solan, on the bank of river Aswini. Solan is easily accessible from Delhi and Chandigarh. Its the, midway between kalka (The railhead) and Shimla, on the National Highway No.22. The National Heritage Park is located at Shakti Sthal on NH 22 between Kalka and Shimla 7 Kms from Solan Brewery in Himachal Pradesh. One has to take diversion from Salogada to Ashwini Khud at Shakti Sthal. The park is located at the ‘Hart Village’ , 7 kilometers from the Shimla-Kalka National Highway.
The man behind this Heritage Park is a retired Brigadier of Indian Army, Kapil Mohan ( PadamShree) has put efforts, money, and energy to construct this heritage park on the banks of the Ashwini Khadd, a small rivulet that meets the water requirements of the Solan Town. Brig (Dr.) Kapil Mohan, VSM, (Retd.) PHD, who is visualising this project for last 30 years. It is a microcrosm of traditional Indian Heritage. It will not only exhibit the spiritual continuity of the country, It will also see the revival of the vedic lifestyle. It has 108 deities of Hindu god and goddesses which has been manufactured by very experience sculpture-re made up of marbles.
Yagnashalas, katha Mandaps, Herbal Therapy Centers, community kitchens, Study Centers, numerous Temples of great architectural beauty, open Air Theaters, Bal Batikas, Ropeway trolley, theme Parks, Residential Blocks, …all of them are nestled amidst the picturesque Himalayan heights.
