September | Saturday | 05, 2015 :: Music director Aadesh Shrivastava, who was in critical condition and undergoing treatment for cancer, passed away in Mumbai on Saturday
Aadesh Shrivastava (4 September 1964 – 5 September 2015) was an Indian composer and singer. Over the course of his career, he has composed music for over 100 Hindi films.Shrivastava was born in a Hindu Kayastha family in Jabalpur.
Shrivastava was married to Vijeta Pandit, the sister of Jatin Lalit and actress Sulakshana Pandit. They had two sons, namely Anivesh and Avitesh. Aadesh was diagnosed with cancer in December 2010 and went through chemotherapy.
It was again reported in the media on 31 August 2015 that his cancer had relapsed for a third time since his first attack in 2010 and he had been hospitalised for more than a month. He succumbed to the disease on 5 September.
