Ranchi, Jharkhand | October | Saturday | 10, 2015 :: The Inter House Regional Song Competition was organized with festive fervour at Oxford Public School, Pragati Path, Ranchi. In this competition the students of Sr. Sec. were divided into three groups – A, B & C. In group A there were students of classes VI-VIII, in group B the students of classes IX & X and in group C the students of classes XI & XII. There was an open round also. In all 32 students participated in this competition and sang the regional songs of their choice. Their songs presented the soul of India – the unity in diversity. Specially the songs of Trisha Kongari of std. XI-C2 and Siddarth Kumar VIII-F mesmerised one and all present there.
In his address Dr. S.B.P. Mehta, Director of the school, appreciated the talents of the students and called upon them to take part in such activities more sincerely for the all round development of their personality.
On this joyful occasion P. Hazra & A.K. Singh, the Vice Principals, Mrs. Rashmi Bakshi, the Principal of Junior Wing, all the teachers and students were present.
The competition ended after the National Anthem.
In this competition the Judges – Mrs. Shrawani Fauzdar and Manoj Kumar adjudged the performance of the participants.
