25 February 2015 :: Arvind Kejriwal’s government on Wednesday slashed power tariff by 50 per cent for consumption up to 400 units per month and launched a free water scheme in line with election promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party.
The government also announced free 20,000 litres of water to every household per month. However, consumers will have to pay for water if the consumption limit exceeds 20,000 litres.

The free water scheme was discontinued after Kejriwal quit on 14th of February 2014.
