New Delhi, 27 February 2013 :: Picture Perfect Delhi Contest 2012 was organised by Delhi Government. In which Legendry photographer Mr. Raghu Rai was the Judged, Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Awarded the winning photographers at Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Smt. Sheila Dikshit Congratulated the winners by giving them cash prizes and shortlisted entries got the images duly signed by Chief minister.
Winners of the contest are
1st Prize of Rs. 1 Lakh – Manvender Vashist.
2nd Prize of Rs. 75,000 – Jyoti Kapoor, Gaurav Chhabra, Subhash Paul,
3rd Prize of Rs. 50,000 – Ashish Rahi , Ashwani K. Sharma, Amarjeet Kumar Singh, Manish and Mahesh Singh and
100 consolations prizes.
Entries received were more than 24,000 out of which 184 entries got selected. About 400 meritorious images were displayed at the central park at the award function cum exhibition at central park, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
