Ranjeet Singh of Jharkhand won Bronze Medal in 12th Junior World Wushu championship at Hongkong.

Lens Eye - News Portal - Ranjeet Singh of Jharkhand won Bronze Medal in 12th Junior world Wushu championship at Hongkong.A Thirteen members Indian team participated in 12th Hongkong International Wushu Championship at Shatin, Hongkong. The championship was organised from 17th to 24th of March 2014.The Indian Wushu team won 7 Gold , 5 Silver and 2 Bronze medals . Its a proud moment of Jharkhand also as Ranjit Singh representing Jharkhand (a sanshou player in above 90 Kg category ) won bronze medal by defeating Russian player. Ranjeet Singh an army player from Jharkhand.

Shivendra Nath Dubey and Dr Ramashanker Singh were the team manager of the Indian team.

 The officials of the Jharkhand wushu Association Kunal Basu, Sunil Sahu, Dr K P Mohanta, Murari Narayan Tiwari, Manish Jaiswal, Rupesh Kumar Sahu, Pradeep Verma, Chanchal Bhatacharya, Sarojani Lakra, Uday Sahu, Raju Jain, Angad Singh, Sivji Tiwary, Shailendra Dubey, Deepak Gope, L Pradeep Kumar Singh, Dr Anshu Sahu, Ratnesh Kumar, Ashesh Kumar, Priyadarshi Amar,Vijay Kumar Limboo, Sanjiv Kumar congrats  Ranjeet Singh on his great success.

Shivendra Dubey the General Secretary JWA informed that this is very first time that our senior male  player won medal in International championship. Previously Amasee Barla won gold in the international championship and Jyoti Kumari won Bronze in Asian Junior Championship.
