RS MP Shri Parimal Nathwani’s Booklet on SAGY Released in Presence of Senior Ministers of Jharkhand and Gujarat

Ranchi, Jharkhand | June | 28, 2017 :: Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha  ParimalNathwani’s booklet showcasing his development works carried out in Jaratoli – Baram Panchayat of Namkum Block and Chuttu Panchayat of Kanke Block in Ranchi District of Jharkhand was released in presence of senior ministers of State Governments of Jharkhand and Gujarat on Tuesday at Ahmedabad. Shri Nathwani has adopted both the villages under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), launched by Prime Minister NarendraModi on 11th October, 2014 for development of rural areas of the country.

The booklet was released during a dinner organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with support of Zydus Cadila and Reliance Industries Ltd in honour of Group of Ministers of Jharkhand, who visited Gujarat for participation in the ‘Management and Leadership for Good Governance’ programme at Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad (IIM-A). Senior Minister of Government of Jharkhand  SaryuRai,  C P Singh,  Nikanth Singh Munda,  Chandra Prakash Chaudhary,  Amar Kumar Bauri,  Raj Paliwar, Smt. Louis Marandi and  Ramchandra Chandravanshi along with minister of Government of Gujarat Babu bhai Bokhiria,  Nanubhai Vanani and Rajendra Trivedi graced the release of the booklet. Dr. Nirmala Vadhvani, another minister from Gujarat State also remained present on this occasion.
The booklet captures the development works carried out in Saansad Adarsh Gram for betterment of people of Jharkhand. The booklet will help the readers to understand and appreciate the kind of projects carried out under the scheme. It should be noted that apart from infrastructure work, a unique project of setting up the first and only one of its kind Legal Services Clinic at Jaratoli – Baram Panchayat, which will cater to the people of Namkum and surrounding blocks for resolving their legal issues, has been also implemented under SAGY in Jaratoli – Baram Panchayat.
The booklet is unique also in the sense that it has been made in a bilingual format (Hindi-English) for wider reach. The booklet is in corollary to Shri Nathwani’s previous book in Hindi : ‘Jharkhand: Meri Karma boomi’, which by and large covered his work during the 1st term of his Rajya Sabha membership.
