January | Thursday | 28, 2016 :: The list of 20 smart cities out of the 98 shortlisted for the ‘Smart Cities Mission’ was released on Thursday by Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu. The government of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a vision of developing 100 smart cities as satellite towns of larger cities and by modernizing the existing mid-sized cities.
