Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 14, 2019 :: The 19th YMCA School Annual Sports 2019 of YMCA Public School Dhurwa, was held on 14th November 2019.
The events begin with the welcome speech by Ms. Sushma Rosy Toppo (Vice-Principal, YMCA Public School Dhurwa).
Mrs. Madhuri Bage, President, YMCA Ranchi inaugurated the Event by hoisting the School Flag followed by Torch Lightning Ceremony,
The Release of Doves and cutting of ceremonial ribbon to declare the Sports meet open. She addressed the students that in school the students get opportunity to learn new thing which lead to development of their skills Physically, Mentally and Spiritually.
The chief guest took the salute and then Oath taking ceremony was held followed by March parts by the participants. Yoga and formation of pyramid, Display of karate and aerobics by the participants won the heart of the viewers.
Students took part in various sports activities like 100mtr race, 200mtr race, slow cycle race, throw ball, etc. the students who stood first, second and third were given medals.
Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Sourav Murmu (Assistant Secretary, YMCA VTPC, Dhurwa). Mr. Chonhas Kujur (General Secretary, Ranchi YMCA), Mr. Kunal Sharma (President, Y’s Men’s Club of Ranchi Capital), Mr. S.K. Giri (Committee of management, YMCA VTPC), Ms. Alicia Salome Rabe (German Volunteer, YMCA Ranchi), Mr. Hemant Agarwal (Senior Secretary), Mr. Ashsih Topno (Assistant Secretary, YMCA City Branch), teachers and parents were present on the occasion.
