Ranchi, Jharkhand | Jharkhand | 26, 2018 :: Ranchi Adventure Wheelers (RAW), in association with Doranda Old Xaverians (Alumni association of St.Xavier’s School, Doranda) & Round Table are organizing the 5th Wild Adventure Rally (WAR) in Ranchi on the 26th, 27th and 28th of January 2018 under the aegis of FMSCI (Federation Of Motor Sports Clubs Of India) which is the apex body for motorsports in India. The event is supported by Jharkhand Tourism & Sports Author-ity of Jharkhand. Ranchi Adventure Wheelers founded in 2011, is a national level motorsport club of India which functions under the aegis of FMSCI. FMSCI is recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as the only National Sports Federation (NSF) for the promotion and governance of motorsports in India. Raw has been organizing TSD (Time-Speed-Distance) rallies as Wild Adventure Rally (WAR) since 2011. RAW have organized several motorsports rallies in the last 6 years in Jharkhand. RAW has also played a significant role in the INDO-NEPAL FRIENDSHIP RALLY, the BANGLADESH BHUTAN INDO NEPAL RALLY & THE MYNMAR THAILAND RALLY.
Wild Adventure Rally (WAR) is a motorsport event one of its kind in the whole of Jhark-hand which is a national level platform to show the passion one holds for motorsports. The lovers of motorsports have once in a while opportunity to bring forward their abili-ties and passion and make their dreams come to reality .It will begin from the capital of Jharkhand , Ranchi and advance till Netarhat, an amazingly beautiful place of the state passing through Bero -Sisai-Ghaghra-Chainpur.And then back from Netarhat-Lohardaga-Ranchi. The route covers areas unchartered by the urban populace. The areas under the rally have been thoroughly explored & navigated by the organizing team for its safety.
The sequence of events is given as under :-
1. Scrutiny and administrative checks of the competing vehicles on 26th Jan at Birsa Munda football stadium from 10am.
2. Ceremonial flag off would take place at Birsa Munda football stadium on 26th Jan at 3:30 pm.
The chief guest of this ceremony is Rahul Sharma, Secretary, Depart-ment of tourism, sports, art and culture and youth affairs, Govt of Jharkhand,
3. The Leg 1 of the rally will be flagged off at 6 AM on 27th Jan from St. Xaviers School, Doranda, Ranchi. All the competing vehicles would be flagged of according to their sequence with a interval of 2 minutes each and will reach Netarhat at around 4PM. 4. All the participants and organizers are camping overnight at Netarhat on 27th Jan to take the start next day. 5. The leg 2 of the event would start from Netarhat at 6 AM of 28th Jan, it will reach its finish point at Ranchi during afternoon. 6. The prize distribution ceremony followed with dinner will he held at St. Xaviers School, Doranda, Ranchi auditorium from 8pm. All in all, it is not only an event but an opportunity to grab what one has always desired. We would request you to kindly depute someone for the press conference at 3:15pm on 26th January at Birsa Munda Football Stadium, Morabadi followed by the ceremonial flag off starting from 3:30pm.
