The National council meeting of National Union of Journalists’ will be held from 25th to 27 th November 2011 at Ranchi. Several committees have been constituted for this purpose. Jharkhand Union of Journalists took a stock of the situation and made decisions to make it a grand success.
Today a meeting has held for this purpose at Digambar Jain Dharamshala. General Secretary of NUJ[I] Mr. Ras bihari also attended the meeting as Chief Guest. He pointed out the general requirements to organize this type of national gatherings and discussed several other issues related with Journalists.
Sub committees were formed for the same purpose and district units of the state took their responsibility voluntarily. State president Mr. Rajat kumar Gupta pointed out the necessary action to be taken as host of this function. Mr. Sheo kumar Agarwal briefed the members about the actions taken so far. Mr. Jagdish Singh informed about the Photo contest organized by the union and distributed the entry forms..
