Ranchi, Jharkhand | July, 27, 2019 :: The students of the department of Human Resource Management, Xavier Institute of Social Service welcomed the batch of 2019-21 with an official welcome party “Sabrang”, on 26th of July,2019. Post the initial induction, the students received a warm welcome by their seniors.
The event was graced by Assistant Director, Rev. Fr. Pradeep Kerketta(S.J), head of all the departments and faculty members and staff members. The day started with lighting of the lamp ceremony. Head of the department, Dr. Ramankant Agarwal gave a speech to motivate his students and encouraged them.
The highlight of the event was the Ramp walk by the junior batch who put in a lot of effort to bring out their graceful selves onto the stage. The entire Ramp walk was conducted in 3 rounds. The first round consisted of walking the ramp without any tasks, this was followed by task performance and it ended with a question answer round to test the wits of the participants. An orchestra performance was also there which filled the auditorium with zeal and energy.
The department also gave tremendous performances in the form of groovy dances to bollywood numbers, melodious songs and poetry.
The winners of the Ramp walk were awarded the coveted title of Mr. and Ms. Freshers,2019.The winners of the title are as follows:
