Award of PhD in Management to Ramnish Singh.

Ranchi, Jharkhand | September | Thursday | 24, 2015 :: After Open Viva-Voce conducted by the ICFAI University today, Ramnish Singh was declared to have qualified for the award of the Ph.D. Degree in Management, for his Study on “Emergence of Dynamic Organization Structures Based on Social, Asynchronous and Synchronous Communication and Collaboration Patterns in IT and Educational Organizations: with Specific Reference to Organizations in Redmond, USA, and Bangalore, India”. Dr SC Swain, Professor and Asst Dean of the University were his supervisor and Dr Susan Conway was his co-supervisor.

External Examiners were Dr R.P. Mohanty, Former Vice-Chancellor of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar and Dr M.J. Xavier, Executive Director, VIT University, Vellore .

Congratulating Ramnish Singh on his achievement, Prof ORS Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “Emergence of dynamic organization structures, driven by advances in IT and telecom technologies is highly relevant for the success of organizations in current times and Ramnish Singh research adds significant body of knowledge in the area”. “The university encourages its PhD scholars to identify such inter-disciplinary topics, relevant to industry and society”, added Prof Rao.

Acknowledging the inputs and guidance from the University, Raminsh Singh said , “ the rigour of processes of the University and guidance from my supervisor and co-supervisor enabled me to do quality research”.Dr KK Nag and Dr AA Khan, , Members of Board of Governors of the University, Dr B Prasad, Member, Board of management of the University, Members of Research Board of the University, Dr BM Singh, Registrar , faculty members and research scholars of the University were present during the open Viva Voce session.
