Ranchi, Jharkhand | October | Saturday | 15, 2016 :: A book fair and herbal & medicinal plants display was organised in the auditorium of Oxford Public School, Ranchi on the occasion of PTM Day. This fair was organised to inculcate the habit of reading books among students. In this fair a large number of students and their parents and guardians visited. They were very happy to see a good collection of books of different publications like Scholastic, BPI India Ltd. etc. on different subjects like Maths, Phy, Chem, Bio, S.St, Commerce, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Career oriented books on Engineering, Medical, C.A, Cookery, Pottery, Air Hostess etc. The herbal and medicinal plants display received much applause from all the visitors. Suraj Sharma, the Principal of the school expressed his happiness on good presence of the students and parents and guardians and assured that every year book fair will be organised to encourage the habit of reading books to hone vocabulary, creativity, imagination and imbibe moral values. Further he added that it is the need of the time to make the herbs and medicinal plants the essential part of our daily life to stay fit and healthy.
