Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 27, 2022 :: Today, dated 27-11-2022 Books & Periodicals, Ranchi hosted Drawing Competition & Story Telling Competition to mark the the 4Th Anniversary of its Premium retail outlet.
The competition was judged by esteemed dignitaries of the city Mrs. M Cooke, Principal of St. Anthony’s School, Mr. Mohit Chopra – Founder of “Nattu” Magazine and very well-known artist Mr. Gautam Bakshi.
Total of 90 Children participated in the event. In the drawing competition the children were asked to make a book mark.
Whereas in the Story telling competition the children changed the whole plot of a particular story and narrated it in their own creative way.
The audience enjoyed the event to the fullest. Mrs. Cooke addressed the audience while saying that reading is very important for our life, because it enhances our level of thinking.
Reading helps in the mental growth of the child and makes him aware of the surrounding.
Reading expands your vocabulary – You can lose your wealth, your job, or any other possession but you can never lose knowledge.
Every book you read adds to this priceless treasure.

The winners received medals , certificate and prizes from Books & Periodicals. All the Participants received participation certificates. Books & Periodicals is in service since last 4 decades and sitting in ranchi they provide books to school all over the county with the motive to spread education. The Premium retail outlet of Books & Periodicals situated at Gopal Marketing Complex in Ashok Nagar is celebrating 4 years of its existence with this program.
