Ranchi, Jharkhand | March | 10, 2019 :: First-of-its-kind Johnson & Johnson Institute on Wheels is in RIMS-RANCHI from 11th March 2019 to 14th March 2019 to address Needs in Surgical Education at the Doorstep
State-of-the-art Johnson & Johnson Institute on Wheels, a unique mobile surgical excellence training center designed to build surgical capacity of doctors, nurses, and healthcare technicians to help them address the demands of today’s health care delivery system and provide better outcomes to patients of India.
Through this mobile institute, healthcare professionals will be trained in specialties including general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, cardio thoracic surgery, infection prevention and OT management. The courses will consist of modules for upgradation of the surgical skills of residents and post-graduate students to learn the right techniques and discipline at the right time. The faculty comprising of experienced doctors and surgeons will be the trainers to impart surgical knowledge.
Before this Johnson & Johnson Institute on Wheels (JJIW) J&J was also meeting the need of surgeon by their more than two Fixed Institute. The Current JJIW is having dimension of Length – 13.8 mtr (double-axle)/45.2 feet, Width – 2.48mtr/8.2 feet, Height-1.6 mtr/5.3 feet. This JJIW bus has capacity of training strength of maximum 16 ( Open+Laproscopic).
This movable institute (JJIW) is going to be there in Rims- Ranchi from 11 – 14th March 2019 to enhance the skills of surgeon. In these days surgeon including RIMS and other surgeon of Ranchi will get hands on training about SUTURING ”The art of stitching wound”, Different kind of Knotting technique and also hands on training on Laparoscopic surgery” Surgery done with help of a small incision and by help of Microscope/Camera” .This event is going to be inaugurated by Dr.D.K.Singh, Chief Executive & Director on 11th March at 11.30 AM.
