Female photojournalist, Seema Gupta honored by IMWA Award 2016

SeemaNew Delh | 16, 2016 :: Indian Media Welfare Association [IMWA ] organised its 5th IMWA Awards 2016 at Constitution Club, New Delhi in which Journalist and reporters were honored.

Seema Thakur Gupta, a female photojournalist from New Delhi was honroed by Chief guest – Ms Najma Heptullah [ Minister of Minority Affairs ] in the presence of Spl. Commissioner Of Delhi Police,  Bhairon Singh Gurjar,  Mrs. Nalini Kalalini ji Kathak Dancer and other dignitaries.

Seema Thakur Gupta is a freelance photojournalist based in Delhi. She has covered many stories for print and electronic Media. She has covered the major story of Child labour of an 8 year old orphan boy which was telecasted in IBN7 Channel.Seema Seema Thakur Gupta and her husband Arpit Gupta both are freelance Photographer and Photojournalist. And they have 3 years old daughter Nainika Gupta which has set record of Youngest Photographer of the world.

Rajiv Nishaana the President of IMWA said that every year they organize IMWA awards in which they honor different journalist, field reporter, camera man, photographer, and other related to media industry.
