XISS :: Department of Finance :: Freshers’ 2019 : Mitraan di Mehfil

Ranchi, Jharkhand | ,July | 20, 2019 :: The students of the department of Finance ,Xavier Institute of Social Service welcomed the batch of 2019-21 with an official welcome party “Mitraan Di Mehfil” on 20th of July,2019. Post the initial induction, the students received a warm welcome by their seniors.

The theme captured the young energy and vigour of the students perfectly . The event began with the Dhol Beats gracing the faculty of all departments along with the Director of the institute Dr. (Fr.) Alexius Ekka S.J and Assistant Director Fr. Pradeep Kerketta S.J. The event commenced with a speech by the Assistant Director which was followed by the Lighting of the Lamp ceremony.
The highlight of the event was the Ramp walk by the junior batch who put in a lot of effort to bring out their graceful selves onto the stage. The entire Ramp walk was conducted in 3 rounds. The first round consisted of walking the ramp without any tasks, this was followed by task performance and it ended with a question answer round to test the wits of the participants.


The department also gave tremendous performances in the form of groovy dances to Punjabi Bollywood numbers, melodious songs and skits.



The winners of the Ramp walk were awarded the coveted title of Mr. and Ms. Freshers,2019.The winners of the Title are as follows:
