Ranchi, Jharkhand | June | 05, 2020 :: A K Agrawal took charge as the Director (Technical) of MECON on 1st June 2020.
Shri Agrawal, a metallurgical engineering graduate from erstwhile Institute of Technology, Benaras Hindu University (IT-BHU), joined MECON Limited in the year 1986 as Management Trainee (Technical) in the Iron Making Division. Over the years, he has been involved in engineering & design of various Iron Making Projects particularly DR (Direct reduction) projects – both coal and gas based.
Shri Agrawal has exposure in all business verticals of MECON and has displayed strategic insight and business acumen for enhancing company’s business prospects.
He has contributed immensely towards development & growth of Indian Steel Industry.
