Amity University Jharkhand inaugurates the  Annual Fest ‘Amiphoria 2024’.

Ranchi, 24/4/2024: In keeping with the vision and mission of Amity University Jharkhand’s Honourable Founder President & Chancellor, the eagerly anticipated event of the year for Jharkhand, Amiphoria-2024, was officially opened by the university on April 24th, 2024. On the first day of the event, the university was delighted to have Shri. R.K. Mallick, Additional Director General of Police, as the chief guest.

During the event, Shri. R.K. Mallick, Additional Director General of Police delivered an inspiring speech to the campus community. He emphasized the beauty of Amity University Jharkhand’s campus life and encouraged everyone to think freely, create their convictions, and have the courage to follow them. He also reminded everyone that it’s essential to detach from their convictions at times. Shri. Mallick urged students to make the most of Amiphoria, participate in sports, learn how to lose, and appreciate the winners even if they don’t win. He concluded his speech by encouraging students to challenge the inhibitions of society and change the face of the country.

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, emphasized the importance of the 3C’s – Courage, Conviction, and Commitment – during the opening ceremony of Amiphoria 2024. He also highlighted the 4D’s – Discipline, Dedication, Devotion, and Determination – as key factors for success in this event. Dr. Srivastava acknowledged the student community of Amity Education Group for their contribution to the naming of Amiphoria, which reflects a focus on a well-rounded development of the community, including culture, sports, and collaboration. He encouraged participants to consider how to integrate the C’s and D’s in ideation, which would provide an experiential learning opportunity.

On the initial day of Amiphoria 2024, the academic community was treated to a series of captivating dance performances and enchanting music by the varsity students. Later in the day, a range of events were conducted, including Urban Panchayat, Volleyball, Photo Exhibition, Table Tennis, Open Mic, Web Games, Cineroma, Calligraphy, and Chess. Each event offered a unique experience, showcasing the diverse talents and interests of the participants. Overall, the day was a success, and it left a lasting impression on all those who attended.
