Amity University Jharkhand’s Literary Committee members visit Lalkhatanga village

Ranchi, 05.03.2024: In keeping with the vision and mission of Amity University Jharkhand’s Honourable Founder President and Chancellor, the Literary Committee, under the Student Welfare Department of Amity University Jharkhand, conducted a Village Visit recently to Lalkhatanga.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, the Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand conveyed his best wishes on this occasion.
The theme of the visit was ‘Fables and Folklores: Exploring Rural Tales and Traditions.’ Dr. Shayantani Banerjee, In-Charge of the Literary Committee informed that the aim of the visit is to preserve these treasured tales for its students.
From the vibrant village of Lal Khatanga, the committee collected a wealth of folktales narrated by the villagers. Through this activity, students unveiled the hidden gems of oral literature. The committee plans to publish these tales soon so that the future generation is not deprived of the age-old wisdom of their forefathers.
