BJP Releases Vision Document for Delhi Elections

BJP Releases Vision Document for Delhi Elections03 February 2015 :: BJP today released its vision document 2050, promising a world class city, a corruption free government and 24-hour water supply. Party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, state unit chief Satish Upadhya, Union Ministers Harsh Vardhan, Ananth Kumar, Nirmala Sitharaman and senior leader Jagdish Mukhi released the document at state party office.

Party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were not present on the occasion.

BJP scrapped plans to release a manifesto and decided to give Delhi the vision document instead; the manifesto was reportedly stuck due to differences between key state leaders over the demand for full statehood for Delhi

Some of the main points of BJP’S Vision Document are

 * Women safety
 * Self defense to be part of curriculum
 * Electricity
 * BPL and poor families to get power at subsidised rates
 * Clean water to be available to every home
