Ranchi, Jharkhand | May | 10, 2020 :: The Chief Minister provided a rickshaw, an assistance amount and mask to Rajkumar Ravidas, who was living a life of hardship, at the Chief Minister’s residence today. The Chief Minister said that the state government is sensitive towards the poor and needy. If any such crisis arises, immediate actions will be taken to provide assistance to the needy. The Chief Minister also encouraged him and said that this rickshaw will enable him to earn which will support him and his family.
On this occasion, Shri Mithilesh Thakur, Minister, Drinking Water and Sanitation said that the State Government has been continuously serving the poor and needy under the leadership of Shri Hemant Soren. He has urged the public to inform about the problems related to public interest so that immediate actions will be taken to help the needy.
The Rickshaw of Rajkumar Ravidas, who lives near St. Xavier’s college, Ranchi, was stolen few days ago. In such a situation, he was earning as a rag-picker and living a life of hardship. Also due to lockdown, he had no means of earning.
Shri Mithilesh Thakur, Minister, Drinking Water and Sanitation, took cognizance of the matter, took immediate action and arranged a new rickshaw for Rajkumar Ravidas that was handed over by the Chief Minister.
