Ranchi, Jharkhand | May | 10, 2017 :: Democracy at its peak in Delhi Public School its student council election. Leadership is the capacity to transform vision into reality. Nurturing the budding leaders and inculcating the democratic values, DPS Ranchi held an election to select its Head Boy and Head Girl, Primary wing on 10th May, 2017 at Vivekanand Auditorium.
School campus was abuzz with slogans during campaigning process. Students participated in this election with earnest passion, Zeal and enthusiasm. Participants delivered speech to influence the voters like experienced leaders with the required expression and tone. In desire for success and head on, the competitors came prepared with variety of promises, slogans like
‘Achhe din Aane Wale Hain’, ‘Vote for ____ , ‘Forget the rest cold he heard all over.
After the campaigning Principal Dr. Ram Singh and Vice Principal Mr. Omair cast their votes in Ballot Boxes followed by the students who learnt the most precious right of a responsible citizens.
On this occasion, Dr. Ram Singh said that election for student council signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly inverted office bearers. He exhorted that DPS is a leader in child education and produce not children who excel in academics but we prepare them for the adventure of life.
With the announcement of the results, the suspense ended, the curtain has keen raised. DPS Ranchi Primary Wing got the new emerging leaders in form of Yash Raj as Head Boy and Shreya Saraswat as Head Girl. who will share responsibilities with additional Head Girl Aafia Khalid.
