Ranchi, Jharkhand 21 September 2014 :: First Annual General Meeting of Jharkhand Photographic Association [ JPA ] was held at Guru Nanak School Auditorium, Ranchi. On this Occasion a Year Book was released by Raghuvar Das [ National Vice President, BJP ] & Rajiv Kumar [ Director General of Police, Jharkhand ]. Niranjan Kumar [ Presudent, JPA ], Ashok Mehta [ Vice President ], Vijay Kumar [ Sec ], Sanjay Bose [ Joint Sec ], Manish Agarwal & Vinay Raj [ Member, All India Photo Trade Industries ], Ratan Lal [ Media Coordinator ] & large number of JPA members from all dirtricts of Jharkhand were present. Coordinator of the Programme was Sushil Ankan.
In his Message DGP, Rajiv Kumar said, Photographers make a very important segment of the modern society. With current development in the modern age of ever evolving Mass Media, Photography has gained unprecedented importance. Other than the regular events coverage, advertisement & Press Activities,
Photography is also very important for the maintence of Law and Order. Forensic Photographers help us in investigations also He added.
