27 May 2013 :: After Defeating two-time champions Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the dramatic final at the historic Eden Gardens, Mumbai Indians won the trophy of IPL for the first time. By this MI were awarded with a prize money of 
10 crore & Runnerup Chennai Super Kings were given 7.5 crore. Last time [ IPL – 5 ] also Chennai Super Kings were Runner – up. Mumbai Indians was led by Rohit Sharma were as Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the Captain of Chennai Super Kings.
