Google celebrates Children’s Day with a Doodle created by P. Karthik of Andhra Pradesh, India.

14-Google-DoodleNovember | Saturday | 14, 2015 :: Google is celebrating Children’s day and the birth anniversary of the India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by denoting its today’s doodle that was created under its ‘Doodle 4 Google 2015’ contest.

The doddle was drawn by 9 year old, P Karthik from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Andhra Pradesh. He is the winner of 7th Doodle 4 Google competition held on the occasion of Children’s Day.

Every year, Google invites entries for the doodles that later on appear on their homepage to celebrate various events throughout the year. This year, the theme for the doodle was, “If I could create something for India, it would be…’

The doodle depicts a Plastic to Earth Machine, an idea aimed at reversing the damage done to the environment due to increased industrialization. This machine will turn the most powerful evil plastic into green.”
