Google marks Children's Day with a Doodle of Pune girl's drawing on Assam's wildlife. 14 November 2014 :: The Google India is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru with a Doodle dedicated to him on its homepage. The Doodle, designed by a Pune girl [Vaidehi Reddy from Army Public School ]. Vaidehi’s doodle represents Assam and shows several cultural motifs from the state. It also shows a tiger and rhino, which represent the rich wildlife found in Assam.

 This year the theme for the competition was ‘a place in India I wish to visit’.
