Ranchi, Jharkhand | October | Tuesday | 25, 2016 :: Governor of State of Jharkhand, Draupadi Murmu visited the XISS Campus. This was her second visit in a short span of 7 months after chairing as the Chief Guest in the Convocation Ceremony 2015-2016 of XISS. This time her visit was an ‘awareness tour’ to the campus in order to know more about the institute. She was received by our Director and HOD’s in the staff room, following which she visited and interacted with all the faculty members, support staffand took keen interest in knowing about the system. She took a comprehensive tour of the whole campus visiting the staff rooms, all the departments, lecture rooms, computer lab, library, conference room and auditorium. Our Governor has repeatedly shown her enthusiasm and interest in developing the education sector in Jharkhand and thereby promote literacy. We take pride on her interest shown towards the institute and its activities. We look forward to her visits and working together in the future for the mutual benefit of the state of Jharkhand and the institute. At the end she expressed her satisfaction with the visit and the arrangement made by the institute.
