Hemant Soren launched the ‘Jharkhand Bazar’ App developed by the Department of Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs at Project Bhawan

The Chief Minister said that the Jharkhand Bazar app is being launched for the convenience of the people during lockdown.
The purpose of the app is to provide food grains at their doorsteps to people living in small and big cities during lockdown.
Social distancing is the effective way to fight against Corona Virus. In such situation, this app will prove to be effective for the people of the state.
The Chief Minister said these after launching the ‘Jharkhand Bazar’ app prepared by the Department of Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs.
The Chief Minister said certain relaxation in certain areas has been given with a view to keep the economy of the country moving. Jharkhand is following the guidelines given by the Centre.

The Chief Minister said that, so far, nearly two lakh laborers have registered in the Chief Minister’s Suvidha App launched with the aim of facilitating the workers stranded outside the state during lockdown. Soon, the amount of one thousand rupees will be deposited in their bank account through DBT.
The app is now available in the Google Play Store. The state government is making efforts to ensure the safety of every person, including the poor, farmers and laborers.

*The app can be downloaded from Google Play store of any Android Mobile.

*After registration or login in the app, the app will provide the list of shops, shopkeeper’s name and contact number falling within the radius of two kilometers of the location of the registered person.

*Supply of food grains through the app can be done through home delivery. In the absence of home delivery facility, the app will issue M-pass, which will have a time period for making purchases. Even for home delivery, M-Pass will be issued for the delivery person

*This app will not work in Corona hotspot areas
